Job Title: Mobile Mammography Technologist
Department: Radiology
Location: Imaging Center - RGH
Hours Per Week: 40
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Occasional Saturdays, 7:00am - 5:30pm
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000
SUMMARY:
As a Mobile Mammography Technologist, your expertise and compassionate demeanor play a critical role in our community outreach goal in the Finger Lakes Region.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Patient Care. Responsible for performing screening mammograms, gathering patient histories, and performing client intake. Operates digital imaging equipment
- Documentation. Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and procedures; document performance of studies in patient charts
- Coach. Driving the Mobile Mammography Coach throughout 9 counties within the Finger Lakes Region; Ensures proper safety standards are met; Assists in maintaining supply inventory
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- NYS License in Radiologic Technology.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) Required.
- Commercial Driver License (CDL) to be obtained within 4 months of hire date.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Computer skills highly desired.
- Participation in required mammographic continuing education highly desired.
- Associates degree preferred.
- Radiology Technologist and Mammography experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- RTC - Radiologic Technologist certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
- NYS CDL - New York State Commercial Driver License (class A, B or C) - New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYSDMV)
PAY RANGE: $31.75 - $44.50
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
