RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Guidance & Relationship Building. Develop and maintain a positive relationship with all of the children and their families; effectively guide the children’s behavior in an age appropriate manner; meet the physical, social, cognitive, emotional and cultural needs of individual children
- Development. Assists the teacher in providing a developmentally appropriate program for all of the children while fostering an environment that supports their growth
- Safety & Oversight. Ensure the safety of the children and promote healthy habits; work with colleagues and community representatives to support children and families
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent OR One (1) year of experience working with children less than 13 years
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Demonstrated patience and compassion
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
PAY RANGE: $16.25 - $18.43
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
