Job Title: Sleep Clinical Coordinator
Department: Primary Care & Specialty Practices
Location: Sleep Disorders Center - Eastside
Hours Per Week: 36 Hrs
Schedule: 6:30 pm- 7 am
SUMMARY:
The Sleep Clinical Coordinator works under the general supervision of the Administrator/Manager or designee to provide leadership to Senior Sleep Technologist, Sleep Technologist and any support staff who are working the night shift. As a working leader the Coordinator will also provide polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, patient care and education. The Coordinator is a role model for other staff and provides superior customer service by modeling the Brand Promise and Core Values.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide Leadership and Mentorship: Oversee night shift operations, ensuring productivity, safety, and staff engagement while mentoring and supporting team members to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Ensure Operational Excellence: Manage staffing assignments, equipment readiness, and supply availability; participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new and existing staff.
Promote Quality and Compliance: Lead safety drills, education programs, and accreditation activities with the American Academy of Sleep Medicine to maintain departmental standards.
Perform Clinical Duties: Regularly work in a clinical capacity, conducting and scoring sleep studies, monitoring patient data, and ensuring accurate testing and documentation following established protocols.
Support Patient Care and Outcomes: Deliver compassionate, age-appropriate care; perform complex sleep procedures; maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards; and assist in continuous improvement of clinical operations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Current CPR or BCLS certification
Current NYS authorization as a Polysomnographic Technologist & RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist)through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) or NYS Sleep Tech, RN or Respiratory Therapist Licensure
Associate's Degree
One-year clinical experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree
3-5 years’ relevant experience
Leadership experience in a Sleep Lab
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
PAY RANGE: $24.50 - $36.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
