Hours Per Week: 37.5
Schedule: Day/Evening Shift

SUMMARY

As a Staffing Coordinator, your exceptional management and organizational skills are crucial in optimizing resource sharing and staff distribution throughout all departments.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Staffing/ Scheduling: Coordinates overall staffing for the Patient Care Services Department on a 24-hour basis. Responsible for development of some schedules.

  • Information Administration: Manages information, hard copy and electronically, for staffing/scheduling purposes. Ensures appropriate confidentiality of information is maintained.

  • Customer Service: Provides service excellence to customers through office reception practices, communication management practices, professionally managing customer needs and concerns, anticipating and responding to customer requests or making active referral to the decision-maker who can respond to the customer’s request.

  • Communication: Ensures communication is organized and disseminated to recipients. Responds to telephonic, electronic and hard copy communications.


Education Requirements:

  • Required: High school graduate

  • Preferred: Associate’s degree in a related field, or two years of business-related college

ATTRIBUTES

  • Computer experience Required

  • 2-3 years' experience in a healthcare environment preferred

  • Staffing/scheduling experience preferred

  • Excellent organization and coordination skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

PAY RANGE: $20.25 - $25.65

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
