Job Title: Float Field Specimen Processor - Female
Department: Field Services
Location: Onsite, 1616 W Wellesley Ave C, Spokane, WA 99205
Hours Per Week: 40 hours
Schedule: 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday
SUMMARY
The Field Specimen Processor & Customer Support is responsible for collecting and shipping patient specimens in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. In addition to Field Service responsibilities, is responsible for supporting Customer Services needs such as payment collections, customer calls, portal assistance, and project-based needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and identify patients.
- Obtain billing and testing information according to SOP.
- Collect urine and oral fluid specimens for testing (observe collection as needed).
- Package and prepare specimens for shipping.
- Adheres to all HIPAA and DRUGSCAN compliance policies as they pertain to patient information, orders and billing processes.
- Complies with safety rules and regulations to include proper handling procedures of samples, cleanliness and neatness of workstations and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Manage collection supplies.
- Perform customer service duties to include phone inquiries and patient encounters as needed.
- Collects patient payments as needed.
- Assist with Customer Service pickup requests as needed.
- Answer incoming calls from clients as needed.
- Make outbound calls as needed for missing information.
- Place supply orders as needed.
- Assist clients with DRUGSCAN portals as needed.
- Manage shared inboxes as needed.
- Log tasks with CRM as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor/management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
