SUMMARY

The HR Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for assistance and execution of HR Compliance related matters. The HR Compliance Coordinator will interface with all areas of the HR organization, external vendors and regulatory agencies. The HR Compliance Coordinator will identify and assist with the resolution of compliance matters as well administrative tasks for the compliance department. 

STATUS: Full Time

LOCATION: Riedman Campus

DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday

* Occasional travel to various work sites (may be outside of normal office hours)

ATTRIBUTES

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 years' experience working in a Human Resources environment with exposure to various regulatory audits, immigration/visa matters and human resource practices preferred

  • Understanding of Human Resources operational processes and procedures for compliance initiatives
  • Ability to work in multiple disciplines and a comfort level when presenting to regulatory agents

RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALITY. Provide quality control processes for maintaining data integrity within the HR system(s) and personnel files related to licensure, criminal history background checks and terminations. Ensure compliance of contract staff to include: on-boarding, orientation and file maintenance

REGULATION. Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, standards or regulations for compliance purposes. Review and evaluate job descriptions for applicant qualifications or eligibility for specified licensing according to established guidelines and regulatory standards. Retrieve, review and assist in the preparation of employee personnel files for regulatory visits

PROCESSES. Confer with management to develop or implement streamlined processes and procedures for compliance related initiatives. Support for Federal, State, Accreditation Agencies agency visits to include personnel file presentation

Employment Data. Analyze employment-related data and prepare required reports as needed. Maintain required immigration support documentation for Public Access Files. Monitor and manage professional license verification for new hires and current staff

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
