SUMMARY

As the Interface Programmer Analyst you will provide a key link between IT and the business community. You will work directly with business partners and customers, and software service providers to design, develop, maintain, and implement mission critical systems for the transport and exchange of information

STATUS: Full Time

LOCATION: ACM Global Laboratories

DEPARTMENT: Information Technology

SCHEDULE: Days

ATTRIBUTES

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or Business Administration OR 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • CTMS/LIS/LIMS software
  • Interface experience using interface engine products (Mirth/Nextgen Connect prefered) a plus
  • Working knowledge of HL7, XML, and JSON preferred
  • Experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server (including SSIS, SSRS, etc.) and Oracle
  • Object Oriented Programming skills required
  • Experience with Programming languages required such as C#, VB and/or Java
  • Knowledge on web technologies such as .Net and MVC
  • Excellent communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development. Design, develop, implement and support HL7 interfaces and web applications for Medical Diagnostics, Toxicology and Clinical Trials Business units.
  • Analysis. Analyzes opportunities to utilize the integration engine or design and develop new or upgraded interfaces and/or interfaces with in-house applications to reduce duplicate data entry and associated errors
  • Support. Support existing interfaces through analysis and problem resolution as needed, including off-hours on-call. Apply upgrades and maintenance to interface engine software. Perform system administration functions for the interface engine. Perform other support or development tasks as needs or opportunities arise
