IT Strategic Sourcing Manager
SUMMARY
The IT Strategic Sourcing Manager is a supply chain professional responsible for strategic sourcing management across varied commodities system wide.

DEPARTMENT: Purchasing
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday Days
ATTRIBUTES
•Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
•7 years Supply Chain experience or related experience in contract and negotiations required.
•Must be knowledgeable and have experience in hospital purchasing, contract management, data collection, and financial analytics.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
•Proficient in the use of Microsoft tools: Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Designs and implements strategies to capture and sustain purchasing savings in specific spend categories.
•Conducts internal and external workshops to generate and verify savings.
•Analyzes the total cost of ownership (TCO) for savings reduction opportunities.
•Gathers benchmarking data to highlight opportunities.
•Utilizes case volume to estimate utilization.
•Verifies spend data with natural owners to create buy-in.
•Leads sourcing teams, involves stakeholder groups.
•Identifies best practices for developing executable implementation plans.
•Provides structure and framework for developing category contracts.
•Develops, plans, organizes, and executes strategic sourcing events in varied product categories across RGHS.
•Keen ability to anticipate issues; recommend solutions.
•Demonstrated experience interacting with physicians, senior management, and principle stakeholders.
•Manages the development of project deliverables.
•Develops key performance indicators.
•Monitors cost reduction initiatives.
•Ensures continual contract optimization.
•Develops and execute Supply Chain strategy.
•Develops and reports on projects status, timelines, compliance, and results.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
