Responsibilities
Established in 1989, the Golisano Restorative Neurology & Rehabilitation Center provides a complete range of services to adults and children with neurological, orthopaedic, and complex medical conditions. No other facility in New York state - and very few in the country - offer our exceptional variety of resources and services. We are unique for several reasons:
- The largest program in the Finger Lakes region
- Accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation, Brain Injury, and Stroke
- The only program in Western New York that is CARF-accredited for Brain Injury and Stroke that serves children and adolescents

DEPARTMENT: Restorative Neurology & Rehabilitation Center
SCHEDULE: Evening/ Night schedule with an EO weekend and Holiday rotation

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Patient Care & Service. Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; performing various treatment procedures; providing physical, educational and emotional support to patients, friends and families; supervising assigned team members
Planning & Communication. Develop and document individualized care plans customized for each patient’s unique needs, with support from the interdisciplinary health team as needed; maintain effective communication to convey patient health status, treatment plans and progress
Electronic Health Record (EHR) Management. Demonstrate proficient use of an EHR – including accurate patient and provider documentation and communication
Compliance. Adhere to required department and system protocols, regulations (local, state, federal) and education requirements
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED); BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)
