Surgical Technologist- Sign On Bonus!
As a Surgical Technologist I, you will provide safe and effective care for patients in a highly technical area. Working under the direction of the Registered Nurse Professional, you will ensure superior customer service by maintaining a high level of attention to detail and overall care for maintenance and sterilization.
Sign on bonus for 6 months of experience or more.

SCHEDULE: Day / Evening
Graduated from a CAAHEP- or ABHES- accredited program and holds and maintains Certified Surgical Technologist certification within 12 months of graduation
Completed a military surgical technology program
Hard to Fill Clause: A health care facility may employ or otherwise contract with a person who does not meet the requirements of the function of a surgical technologist if they are unable to employ or contract a sufficient number of qualified surgical technologists
Grand-fathering Clause: Provides evidence he or she was employed as a surgical technologist in a healthcare facility for a cumulative period of one year, occurring between 12/31/10 - 12/31/14
2 years of Surgical Technologist experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
CME maintenance. Must maintain at least 15 hours of Continuing Medical Education (CME) per year
Supply check & sterilization. Ensure all supplies, instrumentation and equipment are available and sterilized for surgical procedures and proper operation
Draping & maintenance. Assists with draping procedures and demonstrates vigilance in maintaining overall sterility in the operation room
On-the-spot decision making. Responds to urgent/emergent situations and use sound judgment in an efficient and calm manner
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
