Web Specialist
SUMMARY
The Web Specialist is responsible for content management across several Rochester Regional websites. The Web Specialist will acquire and review content for internal and external-facing Rochester Regional websites, digital marketing pages, email newsletters and other online communications. Online content may include but is not limited to: HTML, images (illustrations, photographs, and infographics), motion graphics, audio and video. The Web Specialist will report within the Digital Engagement team and will interact closely with the Marketing and Communications teams as well as other subject matter experts across the organization.

ATTRIBUTES
- Bachelors or equivalent experience in New Media Design, Communications, Information Technology or related field.
- Working Knowledge of Content Management Systems (Sitecore 9, Sitecore 10, WordPress, etc.).
- Knowledge of effective web page design principles and an understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript – but not necessarily the ability to write or develop code.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
- Healthcare experience a plus.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Sitecore Analytics, and Sitecore XP a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Content Management. Update content for Rochester Regional Health web properties on a regular basis. This includes managing content by building, editing, and deleting web pages (and associated graphic assets) to create accurate and user-friendly sites.
- Reputation Management. Manage the organization's reputation management platform by making regular updates to online listings and responding to patient reviews for location and provider listings.
- Website Performance and Compliance. Monitor websites for consistency and compliance with Rochester Regional Health brand standards, accessibility standards, and HIPAA compliance. Identify ways to improve and maximize Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for Rochester Regional Health web properties. Track and report on website analytics, performance, KPIs, and overall health and quality of Rochester Regional Health web properties. Maintain current knowledge of “best practice” techniques in the fields of online and emerging web technologies.
