SUMMARY
The Senior Mammography Technologist is a modality subject expert and will demonstrate excellent customer service, communication skills, and obtain quality positioning and imaging quality studies.

STATUS: Full Time
LOCATION: Will rotate to different offices
DEPARTMENT: Ambulatory Imaging
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday (between 7AM-6PM). No holidays, evenings or weekends.
ATTRIBUTES
Two (2) year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent.
NYS license in Radiologic Technology
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R)
Prior Radiologic Technologist experience (preferred)
ARRT-M Advanced Mammography Certification (preferred)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Mammography. Perform and/or assists diagnostic, screening, ultrasound and interventional mammography procedures; perform daily and periodic Mammography Quality Assurance (QA) activities under the direct supervision of the mammography QA Technologist; monitor image quality on a continuous basis to ensure that all quality standards are met
General Maintenance. Monitor equipment for proper performance and functionality; clean, restock and prepare examination rooms on a daily basis
Documentation. Complete all necessary documentation in the radiological information system (RIS) and/or patient charts
EDUCATION:
- AAS: Radiologic Technology
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
- M - Mammography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
PAY RANGE: $29.00 - $41.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
