SUMMARY

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you greatly enhance each patient’s care and quality of service with your demonstrated empathy, strong attention to detail and successful implementation of nursing care plans.

STATUS: Full Time

LOCATION: Float Pool

DEPARTMENT: Physician Practice Management

SCHEDULE: 8 hour, day shifts

ATTRIBUTES

  • 1 year of LPN experience is preferred
  • One (1) years of acute care experience preferred
  • Compassionate, warm and patient focused
  • Exceptional documentation skills and professional behavior
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Patient Care: Contribute to the identification of basic physical, emotional and cultural needs of the patient; provide routine nursing services, information and education to patients; collaborate with appropriate registered nurse to revise care pathways when the patient needs are not being met; comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines
  • Evaluation & Documentation: Observe and document signs and symptoms related to the patient health status/any changes in condition and report to registered nurse; provide regular patient status updates to the appropriate personnel

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE: $22.89 - $30.21

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
