SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Manager of Communication Center Technical Operations, the Workforce Specialist is proficient in use of automated staffing systems for the Communication Center and performing duties related to staffing, scheduling, and processing of Communication Center payroll.

STATUS: Full Time

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday Days

ATTRIBUTES

  • Strong mathematical, analytical, communication, and organization skills
  • Knowledge of Kronos Advanced Scheduler strongly preferred.
  • Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated and must excel in a minimally managed, high profile position
  • Call center operational experience a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Workforce Management theory and best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

COLLABORATION & DEVELOPMENT: Develops, builds and manages testing scheduling templates for the organizations outpatient SCHI practices. Works collaborative with practice leadership to maintain operational knowledge that is site specific allowing for optimal workflows. Maintains knowledge of practice staffing models thus ensuring scheduling templates align with staffing patterns. Maintain providers’ schedules that are in alignment with the practices’ mission/vision.

SCHEDULING: Process scheduling updates and requests timely. Inputs staff requests, vacations, and skeleton into staffing computer program. Uses expertise to schedule and assign by skill mix. Schedules staff according to hired rotation per individual department policy. Creates monthly staff schedule for all disciplines (RN, LPN, Sonographers, Nuclear and any additional staff necessary). Post monthly.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

PAY RANGE: $19.75 - $25.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
