As a Clinical Leader in Practices, your strong ability to lead and guide others serve as valuable resources for staff, as well as facilitating patient care.

OUR Department:

If you’re dealing with unsightly spider veins, painful varicose veins, or a more serious condition such as leg ulcers or thrombosis, you are not alone. Vein abnormalities are seen in over 25 million people in the U.S., and the team at Rochester Regional Health performs more vascular surgeries than anyone else in the Greater Rochester, NY region. The Vascular Surgery providers offer the most advanced vascular inpatient and outpatient treatments and comprehensive care for our patients and their families. If you are searching for multidisciplinary vascular disease management and thorough follow-up, you’ve come to the right place. Our comprehensive suite of procedures includes catheter-based intervention, sclerotherapy, Venafit (VNUS Closure), atherectomy, ambulatory phlebectomy, and much more. Our vascular surgeons are all certified by the Vascular Surgery Board and have the highest level of education and training available.

STATUS: Full Time

LOCATION: Monroe County, and Eastern Region

DEPARTMENT: Vascular Department

SCHEDULE: Monday -Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

ATTRIBUTES

  • Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience preferred
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leadership & Management. Lead physicians, practice managers and clinical leaders to run the day-to-day functions of the practice, resolving issues and concerns; function as the clinical resource for LPN, MOA and Clerical staff; ensure staff is rounding on patients, consistently using AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank you); recognize staff for a job well done or for role modeling; coach staff privately when performance is below standard; participate in the selection of new staff and ensure peer interview process is followed
  • Patient Care. Responsible for the success of the practice pillar goals, working closely with the triad leadership to achieve patient satisfaction, employee satisfaction, financial growth and quality goals that are aligned with the organizational goals
  • Issue Resolution. Resolve any issue or concerns at the time of the rounding; follow up any concerns with lead physician and nurse manager; identify and know of all high-risk patients and ensure plan of care is current

EDUCATION:

  • AS: Nursing (Required)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)

PAY RANGE: $76,500.00 - $105,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
