Nutrition Educator (Part Time)

The Educator will provide and/or facilitate learning opportunities for employees, patients, residents, clients, and the community in order to promote quality care, enhanced wellness, and on-going growth and development.

STATUS: Part Time (8 hours)

LOCATION: Medina Family Medicine Tonawanda Seneca Family Care Center

DEPARTMENT: Food and Nutrition



  • Bachelors degree in Education or related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience required

  • Minimum 2 years of teaching and leadership experience required

  • Strong communication skills


  • Implements and/or facilitates programs to meet the identified learning needs of our customers

  • Identifies and validates the learning needs of patients utilizing needs assessments, CQI results, performance improvement results, customer surveys, and course evaluation results

  • Develops educational programs that promote quality health care, employee growth and personal wellness

  • Materials will be developed using current research in the field

  • Evaluates and documents the effectiveness of educational offerings

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

PAY RANGE: $58,000.00 - $85,750.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
