SUMMARY
As a Massage Therapist, your developed skills and exceptional customer service provide relief, comfort and important education to clients.
STATUS: Per Diem
LOCATION: 2 Coulter Rd, Clifton Springs, NY 14432
DEPARTMENT: The Springs Spa
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, Day/ Evenings [Until 7:30pm Latest]
ATTRIBUTES
- Successful completion of NYS recognized massage school required
- NYS licensure as a massage therapist required
- Compassionate, kind and patient focused
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Treatment. Provide massage therapy (Swedish, Deep Tissue and Signature), hydrotherapy and other bodywork treatments for clients; assist in poultices and other special treatments; demonstrate evaluation skills, palpation accuracy and recognize contraindications to treatment
- Leadership & Collaboration. Assist with educational programs for hospital staff and community; participate in research projects; write articles both in concert with other practitioners and alone
- General Duties. Spa Attendant duties as assigned (housekeeping, maintaining supplies, assisting other practitioners with rooming, etc.)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
PAY RANGE: $19.75 - $25.73
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
