SUMMARY
As a Senior License Practical Nurse (LPN) in Dialysis your attention to detail and patient focused attitude are vital while administering dialysis to sustain the lives of our patients.

SCHEDULE: Days/Evenings/Weekends

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Patient Care. Set up and deliver dialysis treatment; monitor patient status for changes in treatment parameters; document on dialysis flow sheet and patient chart
- Team Work. Provide on-going support to RN for care of primary patients, including but not limited to: completion of monthly multidisciplinary form, monitor and update immunization and vascular access records, perform quarterly medication reviews, biannual emergency disconnect teaching and updating of patient Kardex and records as needed
- Project Management. Demonstrate organizational ability and is able to prioritize actions based upon clinical staff and unit needs
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)
- LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
PAY RANGE: $26.50 - $32.50
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
