Description
The Accountant – Grants Staff, as a member of the Grants Accounting Team within the Finance Department at Rochester Regional Health will prepare and support monthly close and reporting activities for assigned grant and research studies. The Accountant – Grants Staff will prepare and support monthly, quarterly and other periodic vouchering reports and activities to funders and internal operational support leadership. The Accountant – Grants Staff will develop subject matter expertise in specific areas to which he/she is assigned and will be responsible for providing analysis and support for assigned financial areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly general and standard journal entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and other periodic vouchering reports for assigned grants.
• Perform research and follow up on outstanding vouchering for assigned grants.
• Work with grants team to serve as liaison between grant accounting, grant writing and operational teams to ensure full cycle grants management.
• Maintain established department policies, procedures, objectives, and quality assurance.
• Enhance professional growth and development through educational programs, seminars, workshops, conferences, etc. to keep abreast of the field.
• Maintain required records, reports, and files
• Perform other duties as directed

Minimum Qualifications:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
PAY RANGE: $60,500.00 - $70,000.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
