Position Summary:
Provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a physical therapist. Documents treatments as per department standards. Monitors response to treatment. Participates in multidisciplinary activities. Participates in continuing education programs within as well as outside the hospital. Provides supervision to students during their affiliation. Participates in quality improvement programs and projects.

SCHEDULE: Days, either 5 8-hr. shifts (Tuesday - Saturday) or 4 10-hr shifts (Wednesday - Saturday)

RESPONSIBILITIES
Team. Assist in the implementation of new programs and procedures; assist in mentoring and training new team members; Contribute creative ideas to add to treatment programs
Treatment. Implement physical therapy treatments as planned and directed by a physical therapist; provide home instruction and assistive equipment if necessary
Patient Care. Provide a safe environment and Physical Therapy techniques for patients; Inspire confidence in patients, families, and staff by performing and communicating in a highly professional manner
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20–50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.

PAY RANGE: $22.60 - $32.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
