Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 9:00am-5:30pm four days a week and one day 11:00am-7:30pm

- Strong oral communication skills with a focus on exceptional customer service
- Demonstrated ability of thorough documentation
- CPR certification preferred
- If travel is required, NYS Driver’s License Required
FOR NEURO-BEHAVIORAL UNIT :
• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) through the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) - either in place or eligibility to sit.
• Must obtain Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) through the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) within 6 months of hire.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assessments. Completes a comprehensive assessment of client’s needs, restrictions, limitations, and preferences
- Therapy. Develops and implements individual treatment programs and group Therapeutic Recreation programs
- Documentation. Documents evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, progress reports, and other reports as required by the profession and the department

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20–50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.

PAY RANGE: $20.00 - $29.00
