Job Title: Workforce Intelligence Analyst

Department: Workforce Intelligence

Location: on-site at Riedman Campus/Hybrid allowed

Address: 100 Kings Highway South, Rochester, NY

Hours Per Week: 40

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm

SUMMARY:

This role supports the development of actionable workforce insights to inform strategic and operational decision-making. Key responsibilities include analyzing workforce trends, turnover, internal movement, and staffing patterns, while supporting scenario planning and forecasting efforts. Working closely with HR Strategy, HR Operations, and operational leaders, this role transforms workforce data into meaningful insights, responds to ad hoc analysis requests, and helps advance the organization’s workforce intelligence capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze and report on workforce trends, including turnover, internal mobility, and vacancy patterns
• Develop recurring and ad hoc reports to support leadership decision-making
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across workforce reporting outputs
• Support workforce modeling and scenario planning efforts (e.g., staffing forecasts, supply/demand analysis)
• Assist in building and maintaining forecasting tools and methodologies
• Interpret model outputs and translate findings into practical insights
• Synthesize data into clear, actionable workforce insights and recommendations
• Identify emerging trends and risks impacting workforce stability and performance
• Support development of presentations and materials for executive and operational audiences
• Partner with operational leaders to understand business needs and respond to data and analysis requests
• Translate business questions into analytical approaches and deliver insights in a clear, concise manner
• Serve as a trusted resource for workforce data interpretation
• Collaborate with HR Operations and HRIS teams to analyze organizational data
• Evaluate data quality and identify opportunities to improve workforce data integrity
• Support initiatives related to job architecture, position management, and data governance
• All other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in a related analytical role required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with workforce analytics, people analytics, or workforce planning functions
• Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) and workforce data structures
• Exposure to forecasting, scenario modeling, or statistical analysis techniques
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with large datasets
• Proficiency in Excel (e.g., advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
• Experience developing reports and presenting insights to stakeholders

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Sedentary - Sedentary roles are primarily office-based and require prolonged sitting (67–100% of the workday) with minimal physical effort and lifting limited to under 10 lbs. Fine motor skills are necessary for computer work, writing, and telephone use, supported by clear visual and auditory ability. Cognitive and emotional demands are high due to extended concentration, frequent interruptions, independent decision-making, and information processing. Although physical exposure is low, administrative areas within healthcare environments may occasionally involve contact with infectious agents. Some roles may require flexible hours, TB screening, or a valid driver’s license.

PAY RANGE: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
