Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Per Diem

SUMMARY:
Certified Nursing Assistants are responsible for providing basic patient care under the direct supervision of the nurses responsible for patient care.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide or assist residents with bathing, feeding, toileting, repositioning, exercises, and other Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) according to individualized care plans.
Support residents with nourishment, fluids, and intake recording; ensure timely response to resident requests.
Maintain accurate documentation of care, food/fluid intake, and shift reports while following policies and protocols.
Assist in maintaining resident equipment and environment in a clean, safe, and functional manner; report and follow processes for repairs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of NYS approved certified nursing assistant program
Active CNA certification within New York State
Minimum age requirement: 18
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to read, write and speak English, ability to follow verbal and written instruction
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20–50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.

PAY RANGE: $21.70 - $21.70
