Schedule: Monday-Friday Days | 10-Hour Shifts | Limited Call

Responsibilities

  • First assist in spine surgery procedures
  • Assist other locations
  • Evaluate and manage operative and non-operative spine patients
  • Provide pre-op, post-op, and inpatient care
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies
  • Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • RNFA required

EDUCATION:

  • BS: Physician Assistant (Required)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20–50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • PA-C - Certified Physician Assistant - National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • RPA - Registered Physician Assistant - NYS Office of Professions

PAY RANGE: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
