Experience as a PA in palliative care, hospice or relevant field is required

RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Care. Provide primarily remote care to palliative care patients, responding to triage needs and more urgent concerns through video visits.
Patient Satisfaction. Communicate with patients and families with empathy and understanding, providing education, support, and guidance related to their care.
Care Coordination. Collaborate with the palliative care team to assess patient needs, provide appropriate recommendations, and coordinate care.
In-Person Coverage. Complete required in-person training and provide occasional in-person coverage for vacation and sick-call needs.

- BS: Physician Assistant (Required)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20–50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.

- PA-C - Certified Physician Assistant - National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
PAY RANGE: $65.00 - $65.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
