SUMMARY:

Maintain sanitary and attractive surroundings, provide excellent customer service, and comply with safety/regulatory guidelines. Comply with OSHA and MSDS practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform cleaning and maintenance of patient rooms, operating rooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas; handle trash and waste disposal in compliance with standards.

  • Maintain floors and carpets through stripping, waxing, and shampooing; ensure walkways are safe and accessible.

  • Provide responsive assistance to patients, visitors, and staff, maintaining a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.

  • Adhere to OSHA and MSDS safety practices while working collaboratively to achieve departmental goals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 6 Months industrial/ institutional cleaning experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Heavy - This category includes physically intensive work such as lifting heavy materials (up to 100 lbs.), climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces, and working on uneven, slippery, or elevated surfaces. Employees must demonstrate strong motor coordination, balance, and spatial awareness to safely operate tools and equipment. High visual and auditory alertness is required, especially in areas with moving machinery. Emotional demands are moderate, focusing on hazard recognition, task accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. Environmental exposures may include extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, loud noise, and mechanical hazards. Personal protective equipment (PPE) and periodic physical examinations are often required.

PAY RANGE: $18.46 - $26.24

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
